What kind of mental health support is the school providing?

The school is providing talk therapy (counselling) services for all students to ensure a holistic approach in caring for the students. While “therapy” sounds like a daunting term, it is merely defined as a conversation between two people, i.e. you and your therapist, in a safe and non-judgemental space. Just like how you go to a general physician (doctor) for your cough, flu, and fever; you go to a therapist (e.g. clinical psychologist, counsellor) when you face any mental health or emotional concerns which are causing you much distress in your day-to-day life. Your therapist will then help you to learn more about what you’re experiencing and guide you in having a better quality of life.
